Macmillan Information & Support Manager
At the information and support centre, you'll find a team of experts and trained volunteers on hand to answer your questions. They aim to give you a ‘time away’ from the cancer clinic, where you can find a listening ear and information on everything from local support groups to help with the financial problems cancer may create. You can access booklets, leaflets and other sources of information free of charge. The hub offers a wide range of cancer advice and services to all cancer patients and their families, relatives and friends. You don't need an appointment to speak to or visit our centres. And you're welcome whether you have a cancer diagnosis, are worried about cancer or are visiting on behalf of a friend or relative.
For any further information about any of these components, please feel free to ring the Macmillan Information Centre Manager who will be able to assist you.

Activity Referral – Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles
Activity Referral is a scheme to help you get and stay active. Our Level 4 instructors in cancer can create a physical activity programme just for you, as well as giving ongoing support. Taking part in physical activity before, during and after treatment can play a huge part in enabling you to take back control. It can help you prevent and manage some of the effects of treatment, such as fatigue, depression, muscle wasting and risks to your heart health.
